. I was presently surprised when i did pick up the book to read. After the first chapter is was bitten, hooked link and sinker! It was a fun read. The first book took me two days to get through. My son's friend who lent me the book was surprised by how fast I read it. It has been fun to take with my son and his female friend about the book. I love how absolutely klutzy Bella is. I also like the way Stephanie Meyer uses the environment to the Cullen's advantage.The second book New Moon
put a twist to the story with Jacob. The idea of werewolves as guardians was excellent. I found Jacob more caring and nurturing than Edward. I didn't like it when Bella went after Edward. The Italian court had it's own little twist and turns that would be a cool book in of itself should Stephanie Meyer choose. I for one would read that. But I guess it was Bella's turn to rescue Edward after he rescue her at the end of the first book. Still my money is on Jacob.The third book Eclipse
was so far my favorite. I'm still pulling for Jacob to win Bella's love. I think Edward has some control issues that Bella could do without. Even though vampires and werewolves don't get along it was great to see co-operation. At the end of the book I was so disappointed. It didn't end like I wanted it to.I am looking forward to reading the fourth book Breaking Dawn
. My son gave me a bit of a spoiler. I'm hoping he was teasing me.
